The running is the fun part, for sure—but so is playing golf, which is what he’s happily doing, apparently, every day now. Even as the laziest president imaginable, he couldn’t play golf **every** day. So he’ll have competing imperatives for sure. But revenge is his thing so....

This started with me claiming that the rest of the GOP field will respond to Trump—does he run or not—and Seth claiming that no, Trump will be worried about losing to those guys. We’ll see *if* he runs—but I’m pretty sure he can’t imagine losing nom to “Lyin’ Ted Cruz” et al.

I’ll tell you something—I have “met”many truly brilliant (and witty) people here—as I’m sure you both have—that I would never otherwise have met. But I’ve also met—at least in this simulacrum—some terrible people. And I’ve also read many fewer books—which I deeply regret. So....
