Two years anyway. GOP could regain control of the Senate in 2022. But this assumes he has some duty to oblige Biden. Like RBG, he has life tenure; it's his call.

One example of asymmetric polorization is GOP judges do act as members of a political coalition, while Dem judges are more individualistic.

Thomas didn’t retire under Trump, though. And Obama replaced two (admittedly old line) Republicans.

It’s also wrong that Dem (& non-Trumpy Repub appointees) aren’t retiring. I mean, this has been widely reported. https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_600f3759c5b676ad837652a8 …

2013 Dems eliminated judicial filibusters & ended that Congress w only 7 or 8 openings. After Dems lost the Senate Repubs confirmed less than 30% of Obama nominations Nevertheless, here’s judicial appointments: Clinton: 372 Bush: 324 Obama: 324 So, no. You’re wrong.

Trump: 54 appellate court judges in 4 years, Obama 55 appellate court judges in 8 years. Supreme court right now: 6 Republican appointed judges, 3 Democratic ones. These are the judges that shape the law, overwhelminglypic.twitter.com/H8THICuelj

Balance of Supreme Court is because Dems don’t take it seriously? You are such a profoundly unserious fool
