You might have me confused with someone else but I wasn't justifying anything by the Times or their Union or the leadership. I was defending worker protections as actually meaningful in response to what you said to Jeet.
So is this a crucial free speech battle or not? Or is it less important than one man's professional identity? I'm confused.

it's not just a matter of professional identity but the actual work he would be able to do while a dumb and utterly gratuitous battle played out see the thread with the labor lawyers? Seems that making a stand for free speech and due process may not've done him much good anyway
