Lol. To be fair, Manchin voiced support for bringing back the talking filibuster in 2011. So maybe they can reform the filibuster to make it weaker - even if he won’t vote to kill it. Another could be requiring 41 votes on the floor to sustain a filibuster vs 60 to overcome it.

I think it's glaringly obvious that Sinema and Manchin generally support expansion of the safety net and deficit spending while disliking the social policies that Dems would seek to enact if the filibuster was removed.

I think both Sinema and Manchin could be pliable under the right conditions. They’re not gonna blow it up over the VRA bill or PR statehood. But maybe a green / jobs bill that tosses a fuck ton of money at their states?????
