I think most Americans in general have a blindspot on Native issues (Elizabeth Warren offering a prime example), so it's a problem that goes beyond the particular people you obsess over. It's changing a little recently thanks to some activism.

You misunderstood. I was making an observation about Twitter: certain cliques, justly or not, have the clout to set the terms of discussions about them, punishing violators. Native Americans aren't one of those cliques. Neither are Latinos (thus the endless Latinx comedy).

Surely you know what I meant but I'll spell it out for the good-faith folks at home. The groups of people who set the terms of debate on Twitter are not (obviously) the same, or even necessarily representative of, the larger groups they purport to speak for.

Right. And let me suggest that in terms of how these debates play out, actual real-world organizing has a much bigger role than Twitter cliques.
