I have Audible credits but I don't know what to use them on... I like to listen to genre stuff while working, but I'm too snobby to accept how ugly or puerile most sf/fantasy book covers are, so I balk during the browsing phase. I'm a self-hating genre fan, I suppose.

I just finished the first Book of the New Sun--a bit of a downer, but interesting. Your list is right out of stuff in Analog when I was in middle school, haha--Jeet it's time to update your scifi reading!

A good year for Isaac Asimov's Foundation trilogy; Walter Miller's A Canticle for Liebowitz; LeGuin's Birthday of the World; Timothy Findley's Famous Last Words
