I don’t think it would be hard to shorten it to one month. Certify all the votes on December 1st, and have the inauguration on December 8th.

you'd also need many fewer political appointees. there are something like 4,000 appointees in executive branch (or at least positions). in the UK there are many fewer, and you're just replacing the senior people.
