Did you read a work of translated Greek or Roman literature in high school? I did not.

Six years of Latin
In High School we translated the Aeneid and various other things.
In English class, we read the Odyssey. I can’t recall what else we may have read in English.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I went on to get a doctorate, but it just reiterates how I started behind from my blue collar Catholic schools

4 years of Latin. Great foundation for grammar, word structure. Miss. Cauglin, grade 9, probably 60 in 1962. How did she hold the interest of rough, downtown 13 and 14 year olds and teach us so much? Amazes me now.
