Marc Rich -- in addition to be a tax evader & epic fraudster -- was also a major union busters. The labor movement was enormously enraged by his pardon. It's a telling example of partisan brain poisoning that history is being rewritten it erase this fact.https://twitter.com/itsJeffTiedrich/status/1342875055768952834 …

One could argue that whenever Trump does something bad people scamper to blame others for his behavior.

It’s being appropriately cited to note Right Wing/GOP hypocrisy.

I might put the Iran Contra pardons in the same tier as Trumps, but your right everything else is petty corruption in comparison IMO.

You're doing exactly what he complains about, taking one quite bad pardon from Clinton and creating a false equivalency with dozens or hundreds of far worse pardons from Republicans, many of them not merely venally corrupt but enabling abuses of public office for sheer power.

There is a difference there not merely of degree but of kind, and there you are, eliding it. Also: we just had 8 years of a Democratic President, and - because Obama didn't much misuse the pardon power - rather than giving him any credit you just don't mention him. For balance.
