I'm trying to come up with a novel for a bunch of architects to read in a book club. Any suggestions?

Would I be off base to say A Gentleman in Moscow? Takes place mostly inside one immaculate hotel, but I was just constantly imagining that hotel the entire time. And it referenced a lot of other hotels and architecture. Just a solid story.

That was actually my first suggestion! And I've never met anyone who doesn't like that book.

Chris Ware is so good it's scary: Building Stories is better than 90% of 'serious' literature of the last 30 years...only 'graphic novelist' that really is...

Chris Ware is one of the few authors / artists that I'm pretty sure is an actual, classic "big brain" genius. When I read his stuff I'm dumbfounded at the mental capacity it would take to put together. And his stories have exactly as much heart as the construction does brains. A+
