If the Democrats were a serious political party aiming at power (instead of a job program for insiders), they would think about how Feinstein's hug of Lindsey Graham hurt them with down ballot voters.pic.twitter.com/0sIaIIk884

Some guy from Germany is saying what again? This thread is utterly ridiculous. What a laugh riot.
are we sure that it did? I'd be more easily convinced re Kavanaugh
I'd like to understand the mechanisms by which Feinstein's handling of the Barrett nomination had (a) any impact on outcome of hearing; (b) caused Gideon to underperform expectations, was anyway determinative in SC senate race, but still left two GA senate races in runoffs.
Keep thinking about how Christie/Obama hug was a scandal for R's. Is civility a death sentence? I am ready to move on from Feinstein, but not because of a hug.
Schumer and the others have been having their asses handed to them by McConnell for so long. I question their motives. And want them to leave for stronger options.
I would very much so like to see Ed Markey as the DSCC chairman. Coming from behind to destroy a Kennedy in Massachusetts was by far the best fought Senate campaign in years. And it shouldn't be the same person as the Majority Leader, that's too much power for one person.
If your intent was not disingenuous, you should've began with this, not with that nonsensical shit about a photograph that few saw. You also can't see Graham in the photo, so, what are we doing here?
What an absolute bullshit take. Do better.
I don’t know what impact on polls. I do know that after Dems had 2 seats stolen for her to be hugging Graham and stating this was the best nomination she’s been involved in tells me she needs her head examined and should not be chair judiciary committee.
