If the Democrats were a serious political party aiming at power (instead of a job program for insiders), they would think about how Feinstein's hug of Lindsey Graham hurt them with down ballot voters.pic.twitter.com/0sIaIIk884

Beyond this photograph, consider the fact that the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett was a big deal, that Feinstein's inept handlings of the hearings were so bad that Barrett's approval rose markedly. Consider how that impacted Senate races.pic.twitter.com/GvGZirya7e
JEET YOU HAVE TO STOP THIS IS AGEIST
It is not ageist. It's performance.
What is considered “old” and “young” is somewhat subjective
Is 87 and in cognitive decline young?
The Democratic Party is the only serious forum for new policy ideas in America, and it is limited to internal debates because the levels of power are controlled by an elite who ensure they take care of themselves before all else. Those ideas can’t become force.
Enough with the age-ism. Last I checked, age discrimination is (rightly) still prohibited by Federal statutes. And there are plenty of senior officials who are more effective leaders than much younger folks. Cognitive decline, though, is cause for concern.
The only people pissed off by Feinstein's hugging Graham we're DC bubble dwellers and Wokesters who don't understand anyone who doesn't wish their political opposition dead.
My political opposition wants me dead. The Republican Party will deny me health care, ignore climate change, and encourage police and vigilante violence against protestors. It is life and death for me and my friends. But not for Fienstein, Schumer, Pelosi.
You wrote all this because of a hug that basically nobody ever saw or even heard about? And you think you understand what’s wrong with the Democratic Party?
