#twitterstorians can you help me compile a list of marxist US historians working today? I don't care to argue about what the term means, self-identification or close enough is fine by me. I'm just curious.
I feel like Harvey's book on 19th century Paris is definitely history.

I've not read it yet but that makes sense. I'm asking about people who write on US history tho. My impression (tbf poorly evidenced, as I mostly read US history) is there's more marxist stuff in European history. Lots of great marxist work in history of international law too.

Well Harvey has written a lot on American cities and his book on origins of post-modernity has a lot on USA. I think he should be read by American historians.
