Town Bloody Hall is now a Criterion movie -- I suppose it could count as "celebrity" although its really a fantastic window into 1970s NY literary culture.

They are celebrities -- and none more than Mailer, the most famous writer in America at that time -- but the movie is really about how this community was wrestling (in public) with feminism more than about any celebrity, even Mailer.
