No. It's not. It's about actually organizing and also identifying and lifting up local organizers in those communities - and putting them on the payroll - and taking their lead. It's not just Young People. Even if it was (it's not) turning folks out to vote is not a given either.

I really think it was the economic argument. Bernie made one, Trump made one, Biden did not

Is there evidence that Hispanics who supported Bernie in the primary flipped to Trump in the general? Because I don’t buy that theory. Though I’m wide open to any evidence to the contrary.
-
I doubt bernie voters flipped in the general, but I think Bernie would have had general election appeal to younger, politically disengaged voters who dislike the political system and may have found some of Trump's schtick appealing.

How many Hispanics and Latinos consider themselves white or would be considered white in Central American or Caribbean countries? I'd be willing to wager that US racism just lumps all spanish speakers together regardless of origin.
-
Totally agree. The role of racism, colorism, and classism within the Hispanic community has not been acknowledged. A Spaniard does not consider himself Hispanic despite being seen as Hispanic because of the surname and language. We all know what is said behind closed doors.
