This bad cold I have isn't being helped by me constantly screaming about how badly the House of Windsor treated Princess Diana. I'm going to have to rethink things.

In 1980, the House of Windsor tricked a naive, star-struck 19 year old into a fraudulent marriage. She thought her husband would love her. He (and the family) knew the marriage was for show & his heart would remain with his mistress. They destroyed that woman's life.

The House of Windsor pushed for a marriage based on 1) lies (his heart was with Camilla) 2) patriarchy & sexual double standard (they needed a virgin) 3) eugenics (she had the right "blood-lines). Truly monstrous people.

He’s watching a TV show called The Crown on Netflix and accepting it as the whole truth. I think he’s feverish.

Replying to @RoncoJollyHen @supekrc
I've never seen the Crown. My partner is watching it and I was talking to her about this based on stuff I've read. It's all true. They wanted a virgin who had noble blood.

OMG! Old people in 1970s wanted son to marry virgin! Monsters! How old are you, anyway? As far as noble blood thing, hasn’t that been a royal fam thing for long time? I mean, they’ve changed now, but did you really expect that to happen in the 70s? It wasn’t all coming from them.

People in 1970s were aware that eugenics was wrong and sexual double standard was wrong. Feminism and anti-racism were pretty big back then.

Oh yeah, it was a real feminist paradise in the 70s.
