My hot take is that this also applies to Dave Sim & his women characters. Not all parts of something like “Jaka’s Story” are perfect, but if you read that & then skipped directly to the Form & Void bullshit, you’d never believe it was the same guy. holds in some late work too

I think that's right -- much of Cerebus is an examination, not unsympathetic, of radical feminism. I just wish I liked his work more.
