Obama’s genuine enthusiasm, optimism, and passion is hard to replicate in politics due to its sincerity. Trump’s rancor, cynicism, mercurial bitterness, and insatiable resentment is also hard to replicate, as, even in politics, hardly anyone is that empty inside.
