They definitely are not all saying the same thing. Beto and Doug Jones, yes. AOC, not so much.

She's saying the exact same thing. People can't listen to what she's saying because she's a young woc.

Nope, she isn’t. Because AOC is not acknowledging the republicans are effectively running against her platform.

Fun fact: AOC doesn't set the platform. The party is headed by Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer. The inability of centrist Dems to own up to their own failures and look for scapegoats is astonishing.

AOC has her own personal platform as does every politician. You get that, right?

Why would her platform (that of a one congresswoman) be more important than the actual platform of the president-elect (who ran on anti-socialism, anti-Medicare for all and more money for cops), the House speaker and the Senate minority leader? How weak are they?

You can play dumb all you want but anti-socialism theme the republicans ran on was based on the specific policies offered by Bernie, Warren, AOC and other members of the squad. This really isn’t complicated.

If Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi can't convince people they are different than Bernie Sanders and AOC, then Biden and Pelosi are really, really bad at politics. Maybe they should figure out how to be better messengers.

JB & NP CAN convince ppl they're diff fr BS & AOC. They do so & successfully only bc they're well known & have larger platforms than most Dems. Yr avg Dem pol from Iowa can't-- not while RWng TV, radio etc call them socialist--which they've made into a dirty word to voters--daily

Beto is saying SOME of same things AOC is. Better digital, more getting out & talking w ppl. I agree. Beto isn't talking about "deep canvassing on anti- racism" like AOC. And tho IDK 4 sure what she means, it sounds unlikely to be an effective strategy. Beto sounds more grounded.

Talking frankly to voters about racism, which is something Obama did with great success, seems both necessary and good. By contrast, Beto's program of seizing people's guns and taxing the churches, especially in Texas, seems impractical.

Talking frankly to voters re: racism is gd, but I don't see it as primary strategy to bring voters to polls 4 Dems. Didn't know about Beto's program. It does seem impractical. I like his recoes at top of thread tho. 1 big issue is avalanche of RWng disinfo on TV, radio, soc media
