I don't think enough people understand that votes are being counted all over America and not just the swing states. As with Clinton in 2016, Biden's popular vote lead is likely to grow much larger. Doesn't matter for the outcome but suggests size of rejection of Trump.

There's a disconnect between the tempo of people's attention (increasingly shorter because of social media) and the tempo of American vote counting (increasingly long because system is fucked up). This created misunderstanding in 2016 and 2018 -- also now.

Yup. And CA and IL. Which is going to make the EC/PV split uncomfortably large.

Yet we will still have all those idiots sharing map with large red areas as if land has the right to vote

California out here holding it down as always, providing the multi-million popular vote margin. Here's hoping this time the rest of the country pulls their weight.

Also does Alaska think we don't see that they have only counted half their votes?

No they are just happy a presidential election will never come down to who Alaska voted for, Republican since 1964

California, too. When I checked yesterday they were only at like 75% and he’d already run up a 5 million-ish vote lead.
