When will people stop blaming Democrats for not convincing Republicans to stop being horrible? People write these things, few if any have canvassed in a Republican district, watched a focus group, answered the phones in a Congressuonal office, or tried to pass legislationhttps://twitter.com/newrepublic/status/1325311447925198848 …

I've read it. The jump from "lost a great organizing opportunity" to "helped decimate the Democratic Party" and "paved the way for Trump" is huge. It's also complete bullshit.

Have you ever knocked doors for a campaign? I didn’t think so. They don’t know or care about policy. They know the buzzwords and how their wallet is doing. AOC is a talent but wins in a D+30 district and doesn’t know how to run in an R+3 like mine, but she thinks she does.

He doesn’t live in the US, is innumerate, has never worked in politics, has never been a reporter, did his graduate work in the study of comic books, & sees politics as going on Twitter to defend people who write stupid shit. But other than that he’s a serious thinker & analyst

I’ll read the article with interest. But allowing the Obama 2008 machine to wither has been acknowledged as catastrophic since 2010 with big Dem debates over options. Imho it would have been hard to maintain w/o going Trump-style cult. And a causal line to Trumpism? Srsly?
