I can even feel some sympathy for her in that if you are a good writer, but bad journalist, this is always going to be your temptation. Still, I think it's foolish to risk the prestige of your publication on someone who has demonstrated before that their word can't be trusted

Obviously, I know that some journalists are better at storytelling, while others excel at reporting, but in journalism, I don't think anyone can be considered a good writer if their story is based on made-up facts.
