Watched “1776” this weekend with my boy, who had suddenly developed an interest in American history, and folks... it’s not good.

Blake, how old is your kid? There’s a show from pbs called Liberty’s Kids that is well made, fun for kids, & will teach him quite a bit. (And it’s not a grind to watch as an adult as some kids programs can be).

Very true, and I did recently saw and really liked "1776." About the only other one about the revolution I can recommend is "The Devil's Disciple"(1958) starring Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster and Laurence Olivier.
