It's an important caveat. But having your voters demoralized 28 days out from the election, with early voting underway, won't affect just the polling.

It can also translate into not going to vote and therefore being a landslide. Don't have great evidence for this yet, but Barrett's announcement has all the marks of a Greek tragedy in motion and if enough important DC types die from it, particularly court stenographers…
