It seems like the mood among some of the blue-checkmarks here has drifted a bit too liberally from "there's a plausible chance of some very bad outcomes" (true) to "Trump is fersure going to steal the election and you're all sheeple for thinking otherwise".

I think a worst case scenario is unlikely given Biden's strong and steady polling lead -- but also that Dems would be foolish not to worry and plan for a worst case scenario.

The worst case scenarios is the move to loyal electors, and challenging the validity of the election up to a 6-3 Supreme Court. And we all know this is going to happen.

We actually don't all know this is going to happen. And while treating it as a fait accompli is a good coping mechanism for some (I guess, I personally don't feel that way and dislike it), I'd keep it to myself.

I think that Donald Trump fully plans to take any scenario and then turn it into a worst-case scenario. It is his actual conscious goal. The only way that can be avoided is a Biden landslide, winning for example FL or Texas on election night.

I mean right now Trump is doing his damnedest to make sure that polling lead can't be translated into votes in any way that matters

I’m signal-boosting the panic for precisely this reason.

With the exception of failed ACA repeal, the story of the Trump era has been one worst-case scenario coming true after another, at least domestically.

Dems need to plan for organized street action. South Korea style. Needs leadership from the party to be effective. Ineffective protest leadership would doom us

This is basically where I'm at. Why so many Democrats seem to think the best response to "danger ahead" signs is that we must panic and declare that we're doomed is beyond me. It's a warning to prepare for battle.
