In a world blessed with ‘Strangelove’ and ‘2001,’ it takes some contrarian balls to assert that. That said, Kubrick’s vignette approach to ‘Eyes’ where these character encounters all have their own unique dramatic arcs is pretty cool. Reminds me of Robert Altman’s ‘Short Cuts.’
