I've long assumed the Republican conventions showcase people of color to reassure their White supporters that they aren't actually racists, and not because they are trying to win Black/Brown votes. But for sure, Dems should take no vote for granted.

I’m not sure about that. Those gettable POC voters probably aren’t watching the RNC in big enough numbers to matter. Maybe that’s the *plan*, but the only upside is to make soft Trump supporters feel like they’re not voting for a racist (even though they are)
