There's absolutely no reason for anyone to care about this and certainly not to kink-shame. The real offense here (if true) is that Falwell's dubious financial dealings with Granda.https://twitter.com/mviser/status/1297933128972066817 …

The larger political issue is how Falwell's colorful personal life might relate to his Trump endorsement. As
@joshtpm has asked: what did Trump and Michael Cohen know about Falwell? Did they leverage that knowledge for endorsement?Show this threadThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

As I recall, Falwell wasn’t a supporter until after a meeting, where presumably this information was dropped so to garner said support. If Falwell had one shred of dignity left, he should bring out the blowtorch since the story is already out.

You see no moral connection between this activity and his position as a leader in an evangelical Christian institution?

In most situations I would say that public figures are entitled to privacy. They’re entitled to be imperfect, inconsistent and human. But where one purports to preach morality (such as “Book of Virtues” author & notorious gambler Bill Bennett) personal habits may become relevant.
