Without kink-shaming, it is worth pointing out Falwell's hypocrisy (as president of a university with very rigid rules for faculty/students). And larger irony that MAGA-heads use cuck as term of abuse & Falwell was early Trump champion.

The hypocrisy makes it relevant because of the hypocrisy alone, but we have to direct the outrage there, not at the specific acts of private people. See: gay jokes, body shaming jokes, sex worker jokes.

Uh also their hypocrisy re: traditional marriage and moral superiority. They have been advocating against LGBT people, feminists, premarital sex, adultery and reproductive rights for decades.

Yes, imposing and enforcing moral conduct rules against students, faculty, and staff at the university you lead while utterly violating them yourself does "matter", even if the sex by itself is just to each their own.
