1. Now that Harris is Biden's running mate, it's worth revisiting the doubts some people in Biden's orbit expressed about her being too "ambitious." That was both sexist and showed a narrow understanding of politics.

Hard agree. The Mr. Smith fantasy of a non-ambitious amateur politician willing to destroy working government and their own career for a narrow idealogical aim isn't necessarily nice, it's the template for the Tea Party.
