2. Biden's been circumspect on the corruption issue. On the one hand, he's said, prosecuting a former presiden would be a "very unusual thing and probably not very ... good for democracy" but has also said decision is up to DOJ.

Someone needs to be held accountable. Nixon escaped accountability. Bush and his henchman not only escaped accountability, they are, for some reason, allowed in polite society.
