I always hated that name. It sounded too much like WW II on the "bad" side to me, even in 2002.

I wish people would be more specific when they say “authoritarian.” A state forcing parents to vaccinate children is both “authoritarian” and good.

A lot of us did. 18 years ago, back in 2002 when DHS was formed. "The name alone should be a warning that they will one day be deployed against American citizens."
