1. How bad could Covid get in America? Let's just say it's not a good sign that Rush Limbaugh is praising cannibals as heroes.https://twitter.com/mmfa/status/1283130468871876608 …

3. Earlier, Alex Jones laid out the logical endgame of the right: "I will eat my neighbors...I’m literally looking at my neighbors now and going, ‘I’m ready to hang ’em up and gut ’em and skin ’em.'”https://twitter.com/nancylevine/status/1256276877280374784 …

4. Cannibalism is, I'd argue, one of the logical endgames of a certain type of libertarian individualism (incest is the other endgame). After all, if it's survival of the fittest and dog eat dog, why wouldn't you put your neighbor on the grill?

5. Is cannibalism a good solution for Covid? Spoiler alert: I don't think so but I explore why cannibalism does provide a model for what is happening:https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/cannibalism-cure-limbaugh-coronavirus/ …

Here’s how out of touch I am about conservative right wingers: I was NOT expecting Rush Limbaugh to praise cannibalism

Not a fan of Rush Limbaugh, but he didn't praise them as heroes. Try listening to what people actually say, not what you think they mean.
-
What do you think he meant? It sounds to me like he was saying they were admirably stoical in the face of hardship and we should admire them, emulate them. Be more like they were since there was something heroic about it.
