Democrats are so inept. 2016 it only took unprecedented recklessness by the head of the FBI, & his campaign conspiring w Russia to lose to Trump. In 2018 they didn’t gain more seats than Dems did in 1974. And now Biden is almost certain to not win by as large a margin LBJ did.

I love how you are committed to the idea that the Clinton campaign in 2016 did nothing wrong and it's all other people's fault.

Thing is, I’ve tweeted like 12-15 things I think they did wrong. Every campaign does. [He prob wouldn’t understand my critiques bc he’s never been around a campaign] But he’s apparently one of those simpletons who think if you lost you sucked & if you won you were great

No, I think there are good campaigns that can lose (I thought Kerry ran a pretty campaign in 2004 & Gore in 2000). But considering disaster of Trump winning in 2016, it's important that Dems do some self-reflection rather than blame Comey etc. (which is true but not sufficient)

Yeah, what’s striking to me is that other than a year or two sometime a few decades ago he’s never lived in the US, he hasn’t traveled in the US much, he’s never reported politics or campaigns, & I’m not sure if he’s even been here—or at least anywhere outside of NYC—in years.

It's true that I'm just a twitter clown but that still doesn't answer the basic point that the Democrats would do well to look at mistakes they made in 2016 rather than simply blame outside forces. A good rule in life: try to think about things you can control.

In your simpleton’s world we can only do one or the other, you’ve decided we’re doing the one you don’t like and that runs counter to the editorial line of your publication, and that we haven’t looked at anything else. And you get paid for this.
