That's just not a satisfactory answer, because he clearly thought that his 1990 arguments didn't refute his 2003 position, or he wouldn't have adopted that position. You have to grapple with why he changed his thinking, what he saw as flawed in his earlier analysis...

I am not saying that you have to accept the changes in his position, but it you can't account for why he did change (and "forgetting" is not an explanation) and show its error, you don't have a compelling critique.
