What's the most depressing good movie you can think of? Three choices come to my mind: Kenneth Lonergan's "Manchester by the Sea," Steve Buscemi's "Trees Lounge," and Henry Bromell's "Panic" (with William H. Macy). I've hesitated to watch any of them lately, for obvious reasons.

I saw Dancer in the Dark (with
@DjSalParadise) and it was so depressing we snuck into another film hoping for a palette cleanser. It was called Requiem for a Dream. Do not recommend this dbl feature. -
This double bill is only rivaled with that time I saw Schindler’s List and In The Name Of the Father back to back
