Are there any parallels from history or other countries to weird liberal nostalgia for Reagan and Bush?

First, I would say this is hardly proof of nostalgia. And second, the article explicitly says, "In fact, Bush holds a majority favorable rating among every demographic group but liberals."

Yeah I think it's fair to say most of such nostalgia is from centrist Dems, eager to make common cause with Lincoln Project types. But it's definitely a thing.
