Not sure it HAS to be so black and white. Nuance ought to rule. But, America. Nuance has become the ultimate in politically incorrect, in conservative(more accurately, right-wing) circles.

Jeet, I love you, but that's poor statistical reasoning. Amongst other things, cancel culture is probably a term more used by critics of the left. Also, any time you have a new phrase (like cancel culture), its trend will overwhelm a boring old phrase (like at-will employment).
