Let's not forget that Bennet's great push to increase the intellectual diversity of the NYT op-ed section amounted to hiring a few never-Trumpers. He wasn't out there recruiting from Jacobian or The Blaze.

Hell, Trump support is far, far more mainstream in the electorate than Never-Trumpism is, and the fact that he wouldn't even hire Trump supporters (even if it was for good reason) completely undercuts Bennet's marketing of the op-ed page as a place where all ideas are discussed.
