I mean unless something majorly changes between now and November, we'll probably be at half a million dead from COVID, record unemployment, stock market collapse, etc. Demonstrations in the street aren't going away and they'll have more to demonstrate against.

In Obama's presidency, people talked about how when the president weighs in on something it gets politicized, so for some policies it's best to just let them play out without going full bully pulpit. Feels like that insight is at work to some degree in Biden's campaign strategy.
