If you are aware of Andrew Sullivans 3 decades of writting you would understand it is not a cheap shot for AS keeps on making similar "freudian slips." And he actively is engaged and enraged when certain triggers happen.

What's crazy is that all this boils down to is the demand that the NYT op-ed page exercise some kind of editorial judgment - which Bennett refuses to do under the guise of publishing "different opinions." But in Sully's mind, editorial judgment would be a "disgrace to journalism"
