1. People are making comparisons with 1968 & now. Obviously there are big differences (no assassinations, no military drafts). But there are also some useful points of comparisons (nation wide protests & riots, including by the police).

Actually, I think they want to render the government completely useless. Not just in America but globally. With nation-states out of the way, big money can do as it pleases.

A much, much larger share of the population is also unemployed and without means to support themselves compared to 1968. Wealth inequality even for the unemployed is worse as well. This moment is more dangerous than we want to admit.
