A Clockwork Orange is probably Kubrick's most challenging film in the sense of being an unsparing examination of evil.

yeah, prior to this little project i had only ever seen 2001, CLOCKWORK and THE SHINING, and those were when i was a callow 18/19-year-old. i’m looking forward to revisiting CLOCKWORK now that i’m in my 30s and have a little more experience to my name.

All of Kubrick's films are great (even Spartacus, which is only part him). My contrarian opinion is that Eyes Wide Shut is his masterpiece (and also a Christmas movie).

True of all Kubrick. The films are strange and take time to get used to but they grow as you rewatch them.
