People will literally die. Everyone knows it. But the rent needs to be paid, along with the grocery bill and light bill. So, owners will make all workers risk death (and some actually die) to make just enough money to sustain life (if they live).

Not "socialize costs," just not have all costs dumped on them. Unsafe environment or not, workers will desperately to work at some pt. in next 18 mo. You're like people opposed to bailouts because business should've prepared. This isn't anyone's fault.
