I mean, I'd love it if he reached out to her but like... why would he? Do presidential candidates often reach out to house members who have been in place for two years? Again, I DEEPLY LOVE HER.https://twitter.com/thehill/status/1249749719020118024 …

my two cents since i've been saying he should: yes they don't usually reach out to young House members, but young House members also aren't usually such influential leaders within the party. Biden is struggling with young voters + progressives -- she's a leader for both

It's normal for the winning leader in a party struggle to reach out to key leaders in the losing side in order to unify the party. I mean normally Biden would offer the vice-presidency or a secretary of state position to Sanders and jobs to prominent Sanders people.

AOC as VP would be great if it weren't for that pesky constitution.

@aoc is not a key leader. I love her but let her get her bearings and give her a chance to prove herself.

Yes, she is. She has done an outstanding (better than many veterans) job. Biden doesn't get the huge response she does when she engages. She is also a powerful speaker and tells like it is. He is the lowest energy candidate I have ever seen, he needs to up his low bar game..

Outside of the Vice Presidency, can you point to a single time in recent history where a cabinet or WH staff position has been offered and made public before the election, let alone before the convention? I’ll hang up and listen.

Lolol. Sanders is a toxic personality, and his staff often the same, they should be nowhere near a team trying build back this country.

Not a good take re - VP and SOS. Offering either to a losing candidate is rare. Last runner D up to get VP was John Edwards in '04 and before that it was LBJ in '60. Also Obama didn't offer SOS to Hillary Clinton until after he won. She was surprised. Not part of her withdrawal.

Bernie is better off in the Senate. Even if he wasn't, Bernie has little FP experience and having two almost 80-year-old dudes in the WH doesn't make sense. and let's not kid ourselves - very few Bernie people are qualified to work in the WH.
