Feels like it's very fashionable (at least on this platform) to say "see, all this in-person interaction was unnecessary and in certain ways dangerous and the new equilibrium will shift toward greater distancing". Maybe! But I find it equally plausible that the opposite is true.

I don't know which result you think is increasingly likely, but if you're expecting a different POTUS in '21, you've forgotten lessons of '16. Also, we'll very much be in the throes of this still. I rather doubt we'll have more than a very private inauguration.
