Regards Berners: electoralism is not all there is. Without a candidate standing on good policy, some will decide to put their energy towards other projects: mutual aid, organizing labor etc. Arguably these have more impact than singular votes. Already seeing this with strikes now

Yes, if you only look at a narrow set of polls, then you can reach your preferred results. But in judging a candidates popularity, it is best to aggregate and look at longer term (in 2016 much of Hillary Clinton's problems were more obvious in aggregate than snapshots).
