1. The whole debate about "enthusiasm" for Biden is badly framed. In normal election, Democrats need both their loyal partisans and more marginal voters (who tend to be younger & poorer). I’m not sure that’ll be the case. The whole appeal is winning. If he loses, the movement fractures. 2024 will have multiple people trying to fill lanes of Trumpism and maybe one or two restorationists.
