Many of the cost/benefit analysis arguments are ignoring the costs of an overwhelmed health care system, with hospitals packed to the gills and doctors forced every day to make countless Sophie's Choice decisions about who lives & who dies. Consider the trauma of that.

And if we're doing a cost benefit analysis, the cost will include the trauma and death inflicted on frontline medical workers. In Italy they're seeing doctors and nurses dying.

When the worst case scenario pandemic comes along, isn't it then the duty of government to help the ones who will suffer most with wheelbarrows of cash? Will the economy not rebound like Rodman as a result of this cash being spent? Will it not restore some semblance of normality?
