If Biden wins, he is going to inherit a Great Recession and no money to do anything. This time it only took them 4 years instead of 8.

If Biden wins, he'll have to reject the false logic of austerity. Interest rates for gov't are near zero and below inflation. USA gov't can spend as much as it wants in an emergency, as in WWII.

So you're saying Biden (if he wins) should declare a national emergency and effectively bypass Congress? Yeah, good luck with that.

You suffer from learned helplessness. There is no reason why Pelosi & Schumer (who have real leverage now) can't push for changes now to make it easier for future administration to have more freedom for stimulus.

The reason they shouldn't give executive *more freedom for stimulus* is because the next GOP POTUS will give the bank away to corporate interests. Christamighty Jeet. You pretend to be so super-smart but you obviously don't have a fucking clue how American politics works.

Again, learned helplessness. It should be possible to put in provisions for automatic spending in response to recession, which would prevent future GOP sabotage. @brianbeutler has written on this extensively. https://crooked.com/articles/democrats-coronavirus-response/ …
